Outside of counseling, Ms. Johnson loves to teach. She served as an Adjunct Professor at Brown Mackie College for 3 years and facilitates numerous workshops for mental health professionals and has been a guest on several panels promoting mental health awareness. She also provides supervision to ALC’s to assist them in their journey to becoming amazingly skilled Licensed Professional Counselors.


Ms. Johnson is a proud mother of two beautiful, bright, and athletic girls. She enjoys being a mother and everything that encompasses. She loves gardening and enjoys traveling. Being in the mental health for over 20 years, she has had the opportunity to work with individuals in all walks of life. She loves being innovative in finding unique ways to inspire people to live their best life.
In 2020, Ms. Johnson established her own publishing company, DreamBig Publishing, LLC and released her first book, “Micah Goes to Therapy” which is the first in a series of 10 books dealing with mental health issues children face. She enjoys writing and inspiring others to explore the author within themselves. As an independent author, her goal is to educate parents and children about various mental health issues through the children’s books series.
Ms. Johnson has dedicated her life to working with individuals and families with a holistic approach. She is a firm believer that every individual can live their best life with the right tools and is driven to assure they are provided with the highest level of service to be successful in life.
